about

Crickets rub their legs together to make music. But they also use their legs to dance. Crickets at Forest Pond are especially good dancers, well known for their prowess at leaping, hopping, and skipping around the pond. Their dances are spontaneously well choreographed and quite complex. Some lesser-known dance companies have attempted, without much success, to emulate the cricket dances.
