about

Strictly speaking, waterbugs do not jitterbug, but they are bugs and they do jitter over the surface of Forest Pond. Actually, they shuffle dance. When the warm winds and the pond surface are calm, they put on their dancing shoes and boogie the night away. They look like figure skaters on ice, cutting fascinating patterns and weaving their own waves over Forest Pond.

lyrics

Come on, baby, come and dance with me
Come on, baby, we'll dance the night away
We'll dance the night away, come on, baby
Come and dance with me, come on baby
Come on, baby, come and dance with me
Come on, baby, we'll dance the night away.

Shuffle down to Seventh Street
Boogie in the summer heat
Gotta move those dancin' feet
Keep dancin' to the beat
Keep dancin' to the beat
Gotta move those dancin' feet
Boogie in the summer heat
Shuffle down to Seventh Street
Come on, baby, come and dance with me
Come on, baby, we'll dance the night away.
